In this shoot for Adidas x JD SS19 campaign I directed and photographed the new products in Brixton with help from Mia Lenthall.
I was commissioned by Gatsby and Kindred to create a vast amount of illustrations and animations for their social media and website to show the different jobs that technicians have and the potential careers that the next generation could do.
This explores the organic fusion that is occurring in today’s fashion industry and how fashion has merged into one industry through the continuous rise of street wear.
Myself and Lauren Mustoe were invited to Benicassim festival by Sony to capture the worlds first shower rave. They had 30 of their brand new speakers all linked together to create a 360 effect of music coming from the showers.
Whilst in my final days at university I was asked to film and edit the new Adidas x Stella McCartney collaboration. We managed, as a team to send all of the final edits and images before she landed back in New York.
Being one of the original 50 creators for Vodafone Voxi was a great insight for me to what I could achieve within videography. For me, this was my first big opportunity to showcase my work on a huge platform.
This is a project that I started for my final year of university and coincided with my dissertation on Brutalism and it’s alternative beauty represented by its forms rather than its bleak grey facade.
Just before graduating, I attended the Island Records private festival on Osea Island: ‘Island Life’. This was a great experience as I was editing and shooting GIF’s with Lauren Mustoe.
After this I also created and animated their ‘60 years of Island Records’ for their social media and cover photos. I also had many interviews which weren’t successful, however I did really enjoy creating work for these briefs.
Back in January 2019, at the turn of the new year, Adidas brought out a new silhouette -the NiteJogger-. Adidas London commissioned a few creatives (Vicky Grout, Ashely Verse, Lauren Mustoe & me) to create content for their socials of the launch event in Peckham which was created and installed by The Midnight Club.
After meeting one of the members of the collective at a MTV event, I directed and created the music video for MadebyMagic in their part of London to reflect their community.
In association with the Skye Photo Academy, the World Wide Explorers offer the same services just outside of the UK. With trips to the Italian Dolomites and Venice where I was the videographer and editor of all of the content whilst the other team members lead the workshops with their local knowledge.
Myself and Cameron West were invited by Weird Milk to spend the day in Paris with them to create an organic music video that reflected their laid back, old school sound.
During my time at Consortium, I was in charge of all images for website and social media. I was mainly focused on trainers and accessories which I loved as there are always so many new and exciting collaborations and trainers being released.
Myself and Lauren Mustoe travelled up to Manchester to shoot the newest addition to the Adidas Original shoe collection, the Supercourt. I was on lighting whilst also assisting Lauren when she needed it whilst shooting the football icon, Bernardo Silva.
For one of the last summer garden parties at Sobar in Southampton, Hightide and Alan Fitzpatrick headlined the event of which I filmed and edited a promotional video.
My good friend Connie Burger, who was studying embroidery at UAL needed to shoot her final designs of her football scarves.
In the months spent up on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, I covered a multitude of roles. I was a photography workshop leader for all level of photographers, I was also the teams graphic designer, videographer and editor for their socials and youtube videos & I also helped in building an eagle hide in the hill facing the Cuillin Mountain range, the perfect backdrop.
I was asked by Studio Juice to be an extra doing keep ups in their new promotional video for Camden Town Brewery’s new collaboration with Arsenal Football club -which I was delighted about as I am a huge Arsenal fan-.
In this experiment I wanted to create an animation whilst using still images. I manipulated illustrations over the top that create a reaction to the photograph.
Whilst working as a waiter for Yo! an opportunity came about when the new Bournemouth store needed a promotional video, where I leaped at the chance back when I was just in my first year of university to create a professional piece of work.
